Graduated from the Louis Lumière Cinema School in 1992, Pierre Barougier has worked on a number of features, such as Roman Polanski’s « Death and the Maiden », Woody Allen’s « Everyone says I love you», Lawrence Kasdan’s « French Kiss» and Bertrand Blier’s « Les acteurs ».
Since 1999, he has been working as Director of Photography and specializes in advertising and fairly quickly in the shooting of food shots making the frame and the light with the French director Daniel
Fauchon. Since that time, he has made also as DOP/Director many TV commercials. In 2002, he is the DOP of the first feature of Marina De Van, « In My Skin ».
He is also devoted himself to the creation of documentary films, including « Radio La Colifata » and « Out of bounds » awarded in many festivals around the world and also to « Here to stay » and « just a beginning », feature documentary films cinema released and distributed internationally.
In 2011 Pierre bought his own Phantom Flex camera. Surrounded by a multidisciplinary team specialized in the shoot of table-top, slow motion and macro, he proposes his services to the largest French production companies: Quad, Wanda, First Time, Sequencis ... His small and efficient crew as well as his workshop located in Auvergne enable him to offer services at very attractive prices ... Freelance, he alternated shoots as Director / Dop and as DoP in collaboration with other directors in all European countries for major brands: Activia, KFC, Landliebe, Heineken, Lavazza, Yoplait, Ferrero Nestlé ... and has now close to a hundred commercials to his credit.
